With the light waning, this may be one of the last school night rides!
Same MO as last week; meet at VR by 4:30, email me if you can make it!

Can We Still RIde?
Is any available or interested to pedal this week?
It means meeting relatively early in order to finish before dark (8 at the latest...)
I rode Jewel Pass last week and had plenty of time before dark, but I left town at 4:30 and didn't doddle!!
If there are any takers, please email me at brett.wootton@shaw.ca...

Keystone
I still only have the emails and confirmations from two people regarding a trip to Revy the w/e of September 13th...
I am looking into how low the snow line is out there to see if it is even still a possibility to ride Keystone Standard Basin...

TBD
Same Bat time, same Bat channel...
The pending low temperature and rain (and possibly snow) may make this a cold and messy ride.
Let's meet at Valley Ridge at 5:00 and determine a ride once everyuone is there...

PowderFace
Weather Pending (http://www.wx.ca/;jsessionid=EB458F080A4D0A8C13F8BD5853D49FBD?service=page/SkyCams)...
Long Loop of PowderFace...
Weather looks better in Bragg Creek for tomorrow than it does in town, however, there currently appears to be a large quantity of snow (WTF?) on Moose Mountain.
The loop can take anywhere from 1.5 hrs to 3 deepending on trail conditions, so plan accordingly!
Meet at 5 at Valley Ridge.
See you tomorrow.

Wild Horse to Three Point Canyon
We need to meet a little earlier this week because this ride is a little longer than usual (32km out and back).
Lets try meet 4:45 - 5:00 at Valley Ridge.
You will also need to bring some shoes that you can cross the river with. Don't worry about the distance and running out of light. Because the ride is an out and back, you can pedal in as far as you want and then turn around. The terrain is fun in both directions with a high point approximately 3/4 of the way out.
See you tomorrow.

Keystone Standard Basin
I would like to start getting things organized for our proposed trip to Revelstoke to ride Keystone Standard Basin (http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/dco/Trails/Keystone.htm). At this stage, I think the weekend of September 13th is good.
Can you all send me your contact info (i.e., email and phone) to brett.wootton@shaw.ca. it may be easier to coordinate than using the blog.

First Mission
Ok, this is getting ridiculous...
If we wait for sun, we won't be riding until August. So, next Wednesday, if you care to join me, I will be heading out for the first mission of the CC All Mountain Alliance. Tentative plans will be to meet on the west side of town at around 5pm and head west shortly after that. Ride to be determined...
Stay tuned.

Let's get going already...
The All Mountain Alliance is for riders who love to climb, descend and rip single track. The Alliance meets Wednesday evenings and will do trail rides in the Kananaskis, Bow Valley and Bragg Creek. Brett Wootton will be at the helm of the Alliance. He’s a well know figure in the MTB community in Calgary and knows most trails in the area better than most. And…he’s a ripper!
And…..there will be the odd weekend adventure as well.
Come on a ride. All rides and meeting locations will be posted on this blog. Helmets are required on all CC Club rides.
Membership to the All Mountain Alliance is $65.00 and includes:
