Where to Begin...

We have been out every week this season. There were certainly a few evenings that were less than optimal (reads cold and miserable);

But there have also been a few classics along the way. Keystone Standard Basin in Revelstoke:

I am not sure I would call it a classic; it was more of a pure suffer fest - Allenby Pass. 54 km of Horse torn trails. The view at the top sure was nice though...

For some reason I don't appear to be smart enough today to get the photos formatted like I want so I have added random images in another post

Time Flies!!

Has it really been over six weeks since I last updated the blog?

Well the Alliance has been riding every week, sometimes twice...

The update was after a trip around Canmore. Since then we have ridden Jumping Pound Ridge and Cox Hill, Baldy Pass, Long Loop of Powderface, Big Elbow/Little Elbow, Around the Misty Range, Powderface Ridge, Stoney Squaw, and Pneuma/Race of Spades. I am sure there are a few I am missing...

Updates

The last couple of weeks have been spectacular.

2 weeks ago we rode Quiate Creek - Jewel Pass - Prairie View - Hector. The evening was incredible and the trails were buff.

Last week was on the Reclaimer, Riders of Rohan, and Highline in Canmore. Once again, a brilliant evening.

Next week, we are heading to Bragg Creek to ride the long loop of Powderface!

Contrast

In total contrast to last week's snowy wet ride, this week's ride on Lake Minnewanka was dusty and fast!
Next Wednesday we are riding Prairie View/Jewel Pass!
See you all next week.

Spring?

Good things come to those who persevere...

The ride started off a little wintery, but ended up a good time.
